Hey, I found that in the FAQ. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be as simple as slapping turbos on there...check out this website for a list of what you need, and then you could price things up. I'm not too sure you could do it for $1500, but you never know...

Re: question?

i heard a single turbo conversion is nowhere as good as a twin turbo. also other than the turbos themselves, u have to swap out the pistons for low compression ones, which by that time ur at $1000

Re: Re: question?

You do NOT have to change pistons on a turbo conversion. Plenty of people have daily drivers running 10:1 compression. Also as far as driveability it depends on if you want all out speed or reliabilty if a single suits you better. A single can get you faster but spool time on a large single would suck for a daily driver.

Re: question?

well thats a choice whether u want to change them or not.. but high compresion+boost means ur engine isnt goin to last long at all.. plus i heard the n/a's can only run up to 4 psi of boost. and the tt is 14?

Re: Re: question?

4psi?? Um the stock wastegate is minimum of 6psi. Several people run 10 psi daily driven and reliable on 10:1 motors. Whoever is telling you your info is wrong. It can and has been done many times.

Re: question?

Dosent having low compression help low end torque acounting for the 315 on the VR4 being at 2500? I don't have one but it seems to me that there wouldent be as much net compression at that RPM as on the NA. Don't even know if lower compression helpws torque but it seems like it would for some reason.

Re: question?

Low compession does not help low end torque, it just allows for more power the same final compession ratio.
