How to prevent the Rear bumper from getting dirty as hell?

I got a 93 White Civic Coupe and the rear bumper gets ridicuously dirty. I thought I was gonna have trouble keeping the whole car clean since its white but it stays clean for a while EXCEPT for that Rear bumper. I mean like only a day or 2 after I clean the hell out of it, all that crap comes back. Is there something to prevent this from happening?

Are you talking about right by the exhaust?

if it's all over the bumper could be brake dust. I had an oldsmobile that was like that, the whole rear bumper was permenantly stained with yellow rust specs (only it was stained permenantly because I never washed the car, Infact I didn't wash it for a year and a half).

^^ I'm thinking a whole different route. If that were the case, and the back rear left and right of bumper get nasty get mudflaps. I am under the impression its the exhaust heat thats making the back bumper black. I hate CIVICS when I see that I just wanna say yo clean that $hit !!

lol believe me im not that dumb, its the WHOLE rear bumper, but I found out what it was cuz I asked my brother, he said most likely its my Cat that went bad because I drove the car for a bit without an O2 sensor. And I heard that its known to burn out the cat. So im getting all that crap all over the bumper because of it.

Yup its little tiny black dots that is a PAIN to come off, and even then when you clean it, it still shows a bit.
