93.5 New Purchase with Rust

I have just purchased 93.5 G with 91,000 in So Cal. However, the car spent its first several years in cold weather with the dreaded salt. It has developed a couple of noticable rust areas. One by the hinges on the drivers door and the other on the drivers side under the rear door at one of the seams on the ledge that the door essentially rests on. The rust is not through the paint yet, however, it has bubbled noticably. There are a few other spots that it appears as if rust may be present ever so slightly.

Should I be worried about this? I live in the desert and ongoing humidity will not be a problem. What types of fixes are possible, being that I do not want to paint the whole car but I do want it to look quite nice for several years as I expect to get a significant amount of miles out of it.

for the time being, just sand off the areas with the rust and use touchup paint to cover it up. thats all that you can do right now without getting a new paint job. make sure you sand to the metal.
