1999 Honda Accord won't start
Today when i was leaving work i went to start my car but all it did when i turned the key in the ignition was "click" click" "click". I know it's not the battery because all the lights and everything came on. Does anyone have any idea of what it could be... I just bought the car Last week wednesday and it has 89k miles on.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

happen to my friends car...but i dunno if this is the problem..but its worth a try.....check ur fuse and see if anything burned out...if it is burned out then just head to pep boys and replace it..good luck

If you say all the lights came on what do you mean? Dash lights, what? Did they stay just as bright when you turned the key to try to start the engine? If they did, you have a starter problem.

Yes all the lights came on meaning the head lights all the dash light and the radio came on so i know it's not the battery. Maybe it is a starter problem. How much is that gonna cost me if i take it to the Honda dealership? I'm having the car towed this morning.

It's Fixed
Thankfully, it was just the battery but since the car has 89k miles on it I let them do some maintenance to it also.. THey put it on the diagnostic machine and flushed out some stuff and added fluid here and there, put in a new filter and a few other things...So i'm happy to say it wasn't anything major...but they did tell me that i'll need to get my timing belt replaced at 90k miles..so that'll be my next big project. Thanks for all your inputs and comments...

Very good idea to change the timing belt now and by the way change the waterpump also. The pump is cheap considering the labor to expose it under the timing belt cover. Also have them check seals and oil pump. Failure to change the belt at recommended miles can cost you a lot of money, over 1400. dollars. if it breaks and bends valves. l
