Got a code 9 when i checked for codes on the dash light. What is a cylinder sensor and where is it loctaed?

ecu codes?

I keep seeing posts in codes and all, what is the proceedure to extract the error codes from the ecu? I have an 88 accord and have some problems with it and want to see if the ecu stored any info on this..
