racing style ford bronco

dunno if i should put it here or in motorsport but anyway,i post on here

after seeing monster garage the other day when they were making a pikes peak blazer, it inspired to do alike with a brondo model ive had for 3 years!

pix will folow when the body will be dried(clear coat is drying)

I went for a rought look on it,were i could see metal plate and "welding"
along with the putty filling in the mirror holes!

the color is a mix of overlapped red wich quite irronically gives a nice burgundy, only thing i need now is to finis the interior, give it some strait pipes and drop the heck outta it!

Re: racing style ford bronco

I'm gonna do a mud racer (secret project is out!) of a 79 ford. Looks great you need some tires that will grip that slippery dirt!

Re: racing style ford bronco

some suitable rims could be nicked from a tarmac rally kit. Because most of the dirt hill climb cars ive seen (well the extreme ones anyway) use a large diameter rim with a extremely soft compound 'cut' slick rally tyre. i dont know what you could use for tyres, but in my opinion you could probably get away with some tarmac rally rims.
Otherwise it looks like its gonna turn out to be an alright build.
laters, WIDE

Re: racing style ford bronco

It needs some burly exhaust stickin' out the side! Also I agree, roll cage and rally rims/tires. Possibly a body kit/fender flares of sorts. (like a wide body bronco! hahaha)
