I finally saw a Lexus IS300 in person brand new. It was shiny as hell. It had temp tags on it. It was dark blue and the front headlights were just like GLEAM! damn i wish i cvould afford one. I also saw a bently and a ferrari last week.

This was your first time EVER seeing a Lexus IS300???????? My buddy had a black '02 with the chrome lexus wheels and it was a pretty nice car, but he didnt pay for shit. He traded that in and got a new Hemi Ram 1500 so that he could tow his Ski Centurion boat his parents bought him.

I live in fricken Spotsylvania Virginia come on now. This is total redneck country. There are alot of people that come around with imports and all but most are rice, and all the others dont have that much money. There are rich people but they buy mercedes, porsches and jaguars. They stay away from the so called "Jap Cars". I hate rednecks.

ahhh, my friend had an '01 black lexus is300. such a beautiful car, inside and out. good handling and really comfortable and quick. he went racing one day on some backroad and flipped it into a building. so what does he have now? a blue evo8 with some mods. damn, i wish i were rich.

I wish my friend would have gotten an '03 or newer because thats when they started coming with an optional manual transmission...but his '02 was pretty fun to drive and had it where you could shift gears on the steering wheel. It was a fun little car to drive, the times he let me.

nah man that car was beautiful... I saw them in magazines and didnt think much of em, but omg it made me want to cry (not really). But yeah rich people are lucky, theres this guy i graduated with that got a 2004 porsche boxter for graduation.

What's the point of having a new car if you can't have fun in it though? Rich people may be lucky cuz they can afford to waste money. People who think they're rich are always in for a big surprise when they buy a new expensive vehicle and think they can afford payments and all but then insurance kills them plus other bills, how about a kid? or two? whatever? That's what keeps places like Carmax in business. I love the excuse... "I get tired of a car real fast." I'll honestly admit that I could not use that excuse... my family has always been cursed with car trouble, but my CRX has paid for itself with mpg, repairs/swap, etc. over and over again, compared to owning something "newer." My wife's old co-worker just gave up a Lincoln Navigator they used for less than a year for a new Mercedes... with a two year old and a mortgage. I hope it works out for them.
