removing the alternator on a crx si
It took me a long damn time to get the alternator out of the engine compartment. Its easy to get it off its mounts but if the lower mount bolts are stuck on the frame then the best thing to do is get a cheater bar or breaker bar with enough leverage you can knock the bolt loose.
Take the splash guard off near the driver side wheel and the alternator will come out that way so much easier. I was just so damn frustrated while trying to get my alternator out that I had to tell people how to get it out of the car so no one else will be as frustrated as I was. If you got any other questions about the alternator or battery or voltage regulator just PM me laterz. |
