I was thinking of buying a 88 RX 7 (NT). The body is great condition for the age. The interior is in need of some attention. The motor needs to be rebuilt but the problem is I have never worked on a rotory motor nor anyone that I know. The car does run but smokes until it get up to temp. Does anyone know a good place that I can get the motor rebuilt? I live in the Va. Beach area. How much would you pay for a car like this?

a rebuilt engine cost roughly 1000$ in texas.
but it can be much more
i'd pay from 400 to 1000$ depending on the car's rust
