Re: 4th slips on new swap?

You know, I would put the LS tranny back in and see if that helps, if it corrects the problem then it is deffinatly the GSR tranny. I suspect that it is a internal problem with the tranny. You say that you only have a problem with 4th gear correct? How about 3rd gear? Does it seem to go in smooth? Does the shifter seem to go as far foward when putting it in 3rd gear as it does when putting it in 1st and 5th?

Re: 4th slips on new swap?

yeah it goes in all the top (1,3,5) gears pretty normally sometimes comes out of second harsh but goes in third pretty smooth and i thought about putting the ls back in but its kinda in peices with a bad sencond gear syncro and the gsr tranny has a limited slip so i dont really want to trade it back out but i really dont no what to do any more at this point!! i hate transmisions!!!!!!!!!
