240Z on the Highway

I just finished this picture during Thanksgiving break. I've been working on it since October I think, but with assignments from my art class and other courses, I had very little time to work on it. I drew this in pencil, and went over it with Rapidograph technical pens (it took an entire day to ink!) It was originally intended to be a quick sketch of the car itself, but it took me so long to get the car accurate, I decided to keep going with it. I wish I would have decided that at first; I wouldn't have drawn it on crappy, thin sketch journal paper.

For references, I used various magazine articles with featuring the 240Z, and some Wangan Midnight Manga. This is pretty much my dream car. Look for my scale model version to be in the car modeling forum eventually.

Anyway, what you guys think? Please give me your opinions and criticism, and don't hold back.

Windshield is a little lopsided, but other than that, it loooks fine.

Roof's a little curvy, but no biggy. Now that I look at it, it looks a little bit weird in the grill....plain ish. And the whole one side of the car is tilting up.

Nice! Not really any other crit besides what's been said. I like the style, and the background is cool.

I like that pic a lot! Reminded me how much I miss playing Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune at the arcades... *sigh* Your quote makes me want to go watch some Fatal Fury too haha

Very nice pic, though!
