2.7L Airbox mods revealed
For any others out there who couldnt find info on doing these mods to the 2.4 or 2.7L airbox, here it is! This is a pic of the removed albow and the installed deckplate. It only took me maybe 20 mins max to do both of them together. Plus, the only money I spent was on the deckplate $8 and some sealant for like $2.50 (I used liquid nails). Easy as hell. And those ribs were no problem at all. After screwing down the deckplate it was easy to see they don't come into play.

lol, it does look kinda big in the pic. just a 4" deckplate.

i changed air filters in my truck today and i noticed
a increase in power so im going to modify my airbox and see what happens.
