Question afpr question

srry if this has been asked before but i looked for it and couldnt find anything, i am looking to get a afpr and i looked at slow boy racing and they have one there for $135 but i would have to buy the gauge but thats no big deal, the question is would that mount up to my stock fuel rails and is it a good buy?

Re: afpr question

That is by far the most popular AFPR for DSMs. It doesnt attach to the stock fuel rail though, unless it is the bushur version. You need a rail adapter for about 20 bucks, and another 50-100 in miscelaneous AN lines and fittings. You should also run a 3/8ths brake line to replace the stock return line, on 2Gs (1g dont seem to have this issue). Some vendors will also offer a kit with the line and fittings you need so you dont have to figure out all the AN stuff yourself. I believe SBR offers this, and DSMotorsport comes to mind as well. Typically ends up around 200 bucks.

Full throttle (www.fullthrottlespeed.com) offers a bolt on unit like the old... what the fuck was that company... ah well the godamn thing bolts on anyway, and is about 130 bucks. No personal experience with them though. They make the MAFt as well, just for reference.

Edit> Spoolinup, thats what the other reg was...
