96 F150 oil pan change

Has anyone ever changed an oil pan on a 96 F150 5.8L? Does the motor need to be lifted? Or can it be changed by just dropping the exhaust pipes?

96 F150 Oil pan...

Yes, you have to raise the engine up to get the oil pan out. I just changed my gasket..... What a pain... but you only have to raise it about 3-4 inches, then you can get the oil pan over the cross member.
