Generic "how much" question

Im considering getting a civic hatch, and throwing in a GSR motor as a daily, and have a few questions.

1) how much do the B18's sell for used, with under 100k miles, motor and tranny

2) how hard is it to wire and do you just use the B18 ECU?

3) what kind of gas mileage would i be getting?

thanks

Re: Generic "how much" question

rota... i am not willing to pay way more for wheels that give no better performance. just not my thing i guess

i am sure a b18c hatch would be as fun if not more than mine since they weigh a bit less. i am happy with my car and it is pretty heavy. still has p/s, a/c and full interior. i forgot my exact scale numbers but it came in around 2400-2500 pounds

Re: Generic "how much" question

Here's a really good ecu pinout of what you need to add for a GSR swap: http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/wiring/wiring.92-95.jpg

Rotas are the bomb. They're one of the least expensive quality rims you can get. And the fact that they make knock-offs of popular styles from expensive companies (ie Spoon, Mugen), and sell them for cheaper.

Re: Generic "how much" question

Nah. Rota's are more of a domestic kinda thing. My slipstreams cost about $100 a wheel versus $400 a wheel for the real Spoon versions.

Only difference is the Rota's are cast and the real Spoons are forged. The Rota clone weighs about 10 pounds versus the 8 pounds the Spoon weighs for the same wheel. I have 15x6.5" wheel size.

Miataracer:
What color are your Rota's? Looks like steel gray. I was very tempted to get that color, but opted for the gunmetal for mine.

Sh*t, I wouldnt pay 300 more dollars for each rim for 24 lbs. less of static weight.

Click on the Wheel & Nut catagory and you'll see the wheels.
It's 39,000 Yen for each wheel, which works out to be $368.19 before shipping.
