Re: code #33

engine misfire or unstable idle will sometimes throw a code 33
I dont think its ECM related.. it very rarely is

Check the wiring from the ECM to the MAP, also check the sensor vacuum lines for plugs or leaks..

Re: code #33

could it be very bad timing? cuz my teacher changed the timing on her and since then she's been acting weird. should i have him redo the timing, after i replaced the ESC? cuz he messed with the timeing before i replaced the ESC.

Re: code #33

right now, the RPM's bounce a SHIT LOAD omg i'll be going 30 and i'll let go of the gas, it'll drop to 1g, then to 500. then sometimes i'll die.
it is starting to die a lot now when i go to stop signs or stop lights.
umm, i can floor it and it dont have ANY acceleration at all, i mean i feel like a old granny out there. i fixed most, if not all, of the vacuum leaks. she idles really really rough. thats it i think, probly more but im sleepy.

Re: code #33

usually when a code 33 is present, the ECM will go into "limp home" mode.. it'l retard the timing to 22 degrees to prevent engine damage..
