Angry No spark on 90 accord please help

after warming it up one morning it died as I tried to leave and hasn't started since. I had the coil tested, replaced the igniter and still no spark. I can hear the main relay click, this means it's working and OK?? I checked for an error code and got a 15. Please Please help.

After removing the distributor cap, rotor, and plastic guard under the rotor, check the wiring to the pickup for cracking / deteriorating wire insulation, as it can crack and shed away, leaving bare wire to cross at the pickup... hence no spark. I'd just replaced my distributor on my '90 because of that. Go to the dealer for the distributor... they're cheaper than aftermarket, and it comes with everything except the coil.

Re: No spark on 90 accord please help

Well, snowiephoenix, I imagine that after nearly 6 months, shaneman has probably fixed the problem, or ditched the car!!

I love the way newbies leap in (on every forum I frequent) and gleefully respond to months-old (and sometimes years-old) posts!

Know what, I didn't even bother to look at the date... I figured if someone else had the same problem, they might want a solution too! But don't get me wrong, always love to hear others opinions!

Re: No spark on 90 accord please help

I learned something from snowphoenix about the dist. See, information is valuable even if it is 6 months old!
