I need to replace the very noisy supercharger on my 95 PAU, so I am looking for some guidance before I start on this.
Symptoms are as follows: Car has 96K miles, and is noisy at idle, but otherwise runs great. I was hoping replacing the belts, tensioner and idler pulleys would do the trick, but no luck there, still noisy. Anyway, here are my questions: 1) Where to buy the REBUILT super charger? Have any of you had any better luck at one particular rebuilder? 2) What else do I need ( gaskets, special tools etc.) to complete the removal and installation? Do these usually come with replacement gaskets and oil ? 3) Do I need to replace the fuel injectors while they are out? what about the o-rings ? Any advice will be appreciated. thank you, mike scanlan |
