Stock levels should be safe.

You can get more input, but not better input. Stock PSI depends on years.

Get:

Boost guage
Datalogger
Free mods

THEN turn the wick up once you can see what the car is doing more accurately.

Anyone who tells you to just turn it up is an assclown.

alright thanks LandoAWD, i will look into it, but, wouldnt getting a datalogger be worthless if in the future i get a ECU+ w/ laptop management because it logs all the statistics anyways? well no worthless but a waste of money and when u say free mods, do u mean the ones from DSMtuner.com? I'm about to do the stage one setup for the car within this month depending on money situation... btw, its a 92 awd turbo plymouth laser.

Supporting mods first. Don't get a logger "later" or you might be rebuilding your motor later.
