does anybody know how to restore cloudy or peeling headlights? i heard there is a way to do it with ordinary products in your home. or does anyone know of a good kit to buy that is reusable?

I have successfully removed the yellowishness in my headlights by using the following procedure:

I saw this guide on Autopia, Sean is a great detailer, and i have used a procedure quite similiar to his and i know it works well. He did a ncie write up w/ a lot of photo's and in depth descriptions. Hope it helps

The hardest part of headlight restoration is getting into the headlights of some cars. What kind of car is it.

Yesterday I tried a product called "plexus" it helped defog or decloud my head lights and made them glimmer like brand new ones. Its an aerosol spray , you spray it on then you wipe rub it in and buff it off amazingly it works better than polishes and waxes. I found it at canadian tire.
