I am installing a new power antenna and the instructions say to splice the wires into the into the exinsting ones.
Existing wires: Red Blue (red stripe) Pink (blue stripe) White (black stripe) Black (red stripe with one gray spot) Black (red stripe with two gray spots) New antenna wires: Black (which I grounded to the frame as directed) Red (has a B+ tag on it) Green (tag says "power radio trigger") Can someone tell me which wires I should attach the new antennas Red and Green wires to? Thanks, Allen |

Re: Installing power antenna
You would attach the red wire to the red one in your harness...and then Green would attach to the antenna power wire...which I believe would either be the blue or the black with two gray spots.

Where are these wires located in 99 Camry V6. The car does not have any antenna(seems to use the hull for it). I was wondering if someone can elaborate on where to find the wire and install an antenna. What would be a good place to buy an antenna? If we buy a power antenna, then where do we give it power from.

Re: Installing power antenna
The 99 Camrys have an antenna that is ran through the back glass just like the rear defogger. The antenna wires are located beneath the rear package shelf.
