t-cut
Have any of you found any difficulties with using t-cut on tamiya paints? I was t-cutting the roof of the r34 [below] and it made the paint discolour. I had to respray it in the end. Just wondering if anyone has found anything like this. It might just be with metallic paints. Maybe i should've used t0cut for metallic paint.

I think T-cut is old hat now, we have moved on since then!
In the UK go for Autoglym's Paint restorer for a deep cut, i.e. lots of orange peel. As Tamiya paint goes on smooth I would recommend 3M Finesse it, available from Trade Auto Paint suppliers, it is very soft and gives a deep shine. Smells great too, they both do! The smell of T-cut sucks! |

If you can get it try Meguiers Scratch X. I think it works great but it is all I have used (just don't rub too hard over raised sections)
