Slow accelerating, lack of power

Pliese adwise. When I accelerating the rpm jumps high like its on neutral but truck speeding up very slow, it takes it few seconds befor it started to move on first or revers gear. It eats a lot of gas and a huge lack of power.

Can I assume that you have the 5 speed manual transmission?

If so, it sounds to me like the clutch is worn out.

So it is a clutch, it's nothing wrong in a fuel system, like carburator or something. and yes i do have 5 speed manual

Yee now i'm sure it's a clutch, it dead now. any good adwises for replacing it? Is it possible to do at home? Cause last time when I was changing starter I decided not to buy Japanis car anymore.

It's a big job. You'll have to remove the driveshaft, transmission and the bellhousing to get to it. You will probably have to support the engine in some way while you remove the transmission. Park the truck on ramps before you start working on it, you'll need the clearance. Everything you work on will be above you and heavy, so get a friend ready to help. You'll need to remove and replace the pressure plate and have the flywheel resurfaced. You will also need an alignment tool to center the new clutch as you bolt on the pressure plate. The pilot bearing may need replacement, you'll need a slide hammer to remove it.

If you had a hard time replacing a starter, this job is about 10 times more difficult. It may be best for you to take the truck to a shop which specializes in this sort of repair if you are not mechanically inclined. Where I live, this type of repair costs about $550.00 + tax. Call a shop in your area and get an estimate.

I replaced my first clutch when I was 16. Too bad my 1963 Nova didn't need one, I found out later the clutch linkage was cracked and wouldn't disengage (this is not the problem with your truck though). I had the linkage welded and all was well again. Lesson learned the hard way.
