Re: Exhaust Question

First of all, you can't have dual exhaust on a 4cylinder.

Just installa flow40 in the place of the stock muffler and you will be fine.

Re: Exhaust Question

you can put the money that you save by only buying 1 muffler towards a header, and gain a little power if you want.

I've seen dual exhuast on an inline 6, with a stock manifold, so you could always do it, but might even rob some power, and would probably make a sewing machine sound like a muscle car in comparison

Re: Exhaust Question

na you can put dual exaust on a 4 cylinder but it wont be a true dual and youl have to get a flowmaster 1 into 2 exaust and my friend has it on his s10 and in my opinoin it sounds like shit. i have a glass pack on my 6 and it sound realy good considering i didnt pay nuthin for it but you can get a glass pack for less than $20 at autozone

Re: Exhaust Question

Well Glaspacks are an aquired taste, and I like them. They don't rust out like normal mufflers, and lighter, and make most cars sound more powerful than they really are.

Re: Exhaust Question

Actauly, glasspacks will rot out faster than any standard perfomance muffler.

The fiberglass hold a lot of moisture and doesn't allow it to evaporate off.

yeah, sorry it took me a day to reply, but blazerlt feilded just nicely for me, thank you. The glass packs break apart and sound like shit after 4 or 5 months, and especally here in michigan, when you start your vehical in the winter time they are done for, they crack right away and are useless

Re: Exhaust Question

Sorry BlazerLt, but the newer, more pricy glasspacks are packed with stainless steel wool, and stone wool. Plus even the cheap ones sure seem to last a long while.
