I finally found time to hit the Post Office for prices.
Ok... shipping isn't too cheap. One front and one rear spring = 5.5kg = approx Australian$44. That's air-mail, not surface which is about 7 bucks cheaper but could take forever. Multiply that by two for all 4 springs and you have close to Aust$88. Ok if you are a Septic Tank, not so good if you are a Kiwi given exchange rates. Dunno what the conversion is to Kiwiland.
Anyway, here's some pics of the springs:
L-R: Front, rear compared to stock SiR springs (front SiR springs were chopped so they are really taller than in this pic). Note the heavy duty wire but proper winds.
Front spring SiR (chopped) plus heavy duty front spring
Rear heavy duty rear spring, stock SiR rear spring
Ride height with heavy duty springs:
Ride height with higher Jamex progressive rate springs and struts. Height is for clearance issues I occasionally had.
When we calculated the HD springs out based on turns, width, diameter etc, we got 400 pounds per spring. The struts that came on the SiR were Tanabes and were stuffed.
Cheers
