GAB Shocks...

not sure if this was asked before or not, but what are your impression on these shocks for those of you who've used them. I've heard "really stiff" even on the softest setting and i've also heard "better than stock" on the softest setting. i'm not sure what to believe, so someone here with a G20 who've actually used them, enlighten me, thanx.

well...i was just wondering because i know someone that wants to sell me a used rear set (~30k miles on it) for my car for a decent price. and was trying to see if it was worth it compared to getting a "brand new" set of KYB AGX's for the rears instead. The agx's are around ~$40 more than the used set of rear GABs. So should I go for it or wait a little and get some "new" "matching" rear AGX's?

BTW, both the rear AGX's and GAB's are 8-way adjustables. and from what someone told me, they're both pretty much the same company anyways. but i'm not sure on that one....

NOTE: I already have the front agx's on my car.

If the new shocks are $40 bucks more then i think its a smarter choice to buy the new ones if u have the $40 bucks for them.

i also heard that agx and gab are from the same company or there same set of shocks. something like that i cant remeber.

i have a set of grond control coilover sleeves just sitting around. i waiting till i buy my shocks. i might just buy the agx now that i heard that 99sentra/200sx rears will fit the p11

yeah, it'll probably be a lot smarter getting the new ones considering they're "new" for one and second i might have a better chance of them granting me a warranty if something were to happen to them, hopefully they wont know that i dont have a 91-96 g20 or 95-99 sentra lol

So how are your kyb's holding up? are they specificly made for the p11?
Or do i need to get the 200sx, or sentra ones? Please let me know, i have ground control coil overs right now, and i had to put stock back on, and maan do they suck!!

hmm...i wasn't aware that tokico had anything at all for our cars...how'd you manage that one? anyways, my agx's (front-only for now) are holding up pretty good, absorbs everything, rides good with my pro-kits, i'm sure my car will ride a lot better when i get my rear ones in. no regrets here and its well worth it in my opinion, considering they were only like $85 a piece at www.tirerack.com

btw, these aren't specifically for a p11. the fronts are from a 91-96 g20 and the rears are from a 95-99 sentra/200sx if you didn't know that already.

DO you have any idea if they would fit on my ground controls?? Is the set up of the AGX's similar to the stock???

I'd Also

Stick with the new kyb's for the rear, don't think a $40 difference is worth it....
