92 Firewall Hole

Tryin to hook up my amp to my battery and i cant seem to find a hole in my firewall to do so! Anybody know where i can find a hole or do i gotta drill my own? Can i run it through the boot that my steering linkage goes through? (Poke a little hole and rip it through i guess!) Thanx
