Making a turbine for this turbo

http://www.imbalancechemical.com/luc...cs.asp?catid=4

Go to the centrifigul supercharger one (for those of you that don't know, a centrifigul supercharger is a turbo compressor spun by a belt) That compressor is AWESOME, but I can't figure out how to make a turbine for it. Any ideas?

I've used a gear from a watch for this purpose (sorry, but I have no picture to show). The gear was basically just a flat peice of thin brass with teeth around the edges and a shaft in the center. I simply made eight pie cuts around the edge of the gear (but not right up to the shaft) with my hobby knife. Cut off the extra length you dont need from the outer edges. Then using tweezers, twist the pie cut sections into the vanes you desire. Cut off the shaft from one end of the gear, since it is only present on one side. This is a great mod for detailing race car setups which have no air filters on the turbo inlet, or for a diorama where you want some car parts laying around. Please ask me questions on any part you did not understand and I will try to help further.

Re: Making a turbine for this turbo

one thing you need to take into consideration is that you wont see the turbine, once the piping is all ran, it is not shown

Will it fit in the engine compartments of Revell kits? They have super small compartments.
