Question 20'' rims...

Hi, im new here, and i searched but found nothing. I seen some 20''s on a malibu around here, and i just picked up a set for dirt cheap. the problem is, They rub oh so slighty on the spring support in the front. Its just slight rubbage but its rubs, so thats a nono. Does anyone know if this can be cut or filed so they wont rub? Thanks for any help.

Re: 20'' rims...

I would check out cardomain.com because I know alot of those guys have 20"s, you could check out their suspension. I bet a malibu looks hella tight on 20"s right. You might have to get an air suspension kit to raise the Malibu but I really am not sure enough to give you an acurate answer.

What the problem is with your 20" wheels is that the offset is wrong for the suspension the Malibu's have. You probably needed a wheel with a negative offset. For a possible quick fix, without replacing your suspension, check out the following links, or search for "wheel adapter" or "wheel spacer".
