Re: air bag code 37

I too am getting the same code on my 2000 Explorer Sport. I purchased my vehicle used about 5 months ago from the dealer but was told I was purchasing "as is". Is this a recall or have they extended the warranty on this part from 3/36,000 to 5/50,000? I have 38,000 on mine now. I saw on another site where this could be a loose connector under the seat. I am a woman and would like to try and fix it if I can but I don't want to mess with something that I shouldn't be. Please help. Thanks!
