hf vs dx

as far as the engine is concerned.....

is the intake manifold the only diference?
that is.....
if you exchange the carb manifold with a DPFI manifold, do you end up with a DX engine???

or are more changes needed to achive the (rated) 92hp of the DX?

Re: hf vs dx

I have a JDM "CV Dual Carb" 16valve D15B
I am thinking this carb manifold was bolted on to run test the engine before sale.

Re: hf vs dx

Really? I know some EDM comes carb but not sure about JDM. I definitely thought they were all fuel injected.

reeeeeeely?

how would I hook it up to my harness?

what about the fuel pump I have on the car from the DPFI? Won't that cause trouble for the carbs?

what would I change for this carb mod?

Do you have any numbers on the carb vs DPFI?

The air cleaner sits on the back, between the engine and firewall....seems crowded

Re: hf vs dx

I think the dualpoint injection was a joke. It's just a supped up carberator and it's amazing though how well it keep ups with daily driving. But honda got it right with the 5th gen. If only
