Updates

Hey ya'll, sorry I havent been postin lately, but our house flodded, and it blew the basement net switch, so I couldn't get online, but that happens. So I guess I'll give ya a bit of an update of whats been happening lately with me.

First off, had a decent race Tuesday night comming back from my girlfriends school. I was going down 70 back towards my school, when I see a set of hyper white lights moving up on me fast. I downshift into thrid and slow enough so that I'm going about 65. Another BMW, 325i, E46, same color as mine, everything, pulls up next to me. I look over, and see an older guy driving, and what looks like a trophy wife, or a very hot daughter. I hit the gas a bit to jump so he knows that if he wants to go, I'm ready.

He points ahead and nods, and points at me like he wants me to start it off. I honk three times, and on the thrid honk, we both take off. I'm doing 65 in third, and I'm guessing he had it in auto, becuase I get an instant jump on him. I dont pull to much through the rest of third, but get another good jump into fourth. I'm now pulling up to 100, and he flashes the high beams and I pull off. He pulls up again, and points forward like he wants to go again. I nod, and this time he honks.

At the third honk, he gets a jump on me becuase I was in mid fourth, just out of my power band. I hit the brakes, he pulls hard, and I drop right into mid third. By now, I start eating up the two lengths he has on me, and I fly by at 115. He flashes his high beams again, and slides over behind me, and grabs the next exit.

Next race wasn't really a race, but a murder. A very bad one, but none the less a good one. I'm cruising around town today becuase I'm bored, and I need to think. Anyways, I'm sitting at a light, not really paying attention, when I hear the sexiest exhaust note I have ever heard. I look up and see an Estirloblue E36 ///M3. Definitely modded, I can see dual DTM style tips on either side, so aftermarket exhaust. As he revs it at the light, I can hear an intake (I had turned off my radio and lowered the windows so I could hear it), and something else that sounds a little more whiny.

So anyways, when the light goes green, he takes off, letting his tires spin, and pulls into a parking lot at Taco Bell. I pull in as well, and he's sitting in a space, and I drove through the drive through and hes behind me. By act of fate, I'm in front of him at a light. It's been misting, so the road is a little wet, so I click off Traction and Stability control, and click it over to Standard. Light goes green, and a step on it. I basically red line all the way through fifth with the tires spinning like mad. He flashes his high beams and points over to the parking lot of Wal Mart. I pull in, and pulls in next to me and gets out. We talk a little bit, and he asks if I have dropped in something because hes never seen a 325i do that. I tell him how I did it, and he laughs. He lets me look under his hood, and my suspicions are confirmed. Intake, aftermarket exhaust, and an AA Super Charger among many other things. Insane. I ask him if he wants to race, and he says sure.

So we jump onto 54, and we drop to 60. I honk three times, and well, needless to say, he murders me. I get up to 120, and hes still a good four or five buslengths ahead of me. Best part is, I love it. I'm laughing my ass off, and I flash my high beams to signal he's won. He slows, and I finally catch up. I give him the thumbs up, and signal my exit is comming. He gives me the thumbs up back, and as I go to exit, he manages to spin his tires one last time, just for good measure.

All in all, so far tis been a good week, and to keep a repeat of last week from hapening, I'll be turning off the computer so I dont post while hammered. Have fun, enjoy the stories, stay safe.

I care not about what anyone else says.....ALL M3's are just sexy as all hell. Last time I looked under a turbocharged M3's hood there was a two step process within about 1 second: 1. see 2. cream...

Re: Updates

I hit the brakes because with Triptronic, a computer saftey keeps me from downshifting if the revs are to high. I hit the brakes to slow down a bit, bringing the engine to a lower speed so I could drop into third and get into a better gearing.
