96 JGC headlight replacement
Hi,
I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and looking for replacement headlights. Any decent aftermarket replacements that plug right in? Any input appreciated. Thanks |

Re: 96 JGC headlight replacement
Are you looking to upgrade to a HID or fake Xenon or what? I don't understand the question. If you're looking to go HID you'll have to beef up the fuses and relay so they don't pop. Also, HIDs run hella hotter and if they are on for a long time in traffic, they can start to melt the plastic light cover.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback. I really don't want some fake HID setup or something that will be burning hot unless air cooled. Just looking for input on any aftermarket headlight module replacement or replacement bulbs that may give a little better performance. Possibly a Sylvania or PIAA upgrade. Those have been some of the upgrades I have considered thus far. Not sure if any one has done this and their experience with it. I don't want anything illegal but a legal performance upgrade. Thanks all for any advice. |

Re: 96 JGC headlight replacement
Well, seeing as how you're in Pierce County, I'd make triple sure whatever you do is street legal. WSP and the other "officials" down there walk around with hardon's when they see a modification that's not legal. Just be careful. I lived in Seattle for a few years and was always nailed en route to Portland. Good Luck!
