Exclamation coilovers for my 94 sentra

whats goin on..... I recently bought a sentra and it is the total opposite of race. its an auto XE with tan int. hahaha.... but i stole it considering the price i paid for it and it only having 74000 miles. well im going to lower it with some type of coilovers , not springs . I was wondering if you guys could could give me any reccommendations for coilovers. My big thing is that i dont care about performance..... i jes want to lower the car and give it a more aggressive stance because im not feelin the off road look lol So , anyone please give me some info or links to sites that sell coilovers that you have seen while you were browsing that are not to pricey.... thanks alot

Re: coilovers for my 94 sentra

it will wear them out prematurely yes, the only way to avoid that is to get a full set of coilovers that includes new dampers, but that will run anywhere from $800-$2000

prematurely?

What do you mean by prematurely you mean like slowly..like how long? now what if i bought shocks that fit the coilovers i buy.... no damage will occur then right?

Re: coilovers for my 94 sentra

prematurely meaning sooner than if you didn't have coilovers

The time it takes completely depends on the roads in your area, how worn out they are already, and how strong the coilovers are. When I put my car on springs, the dampers were gone within a year and a half, and the car was only 3 years old. Yes getting aftermarket dampers would fix that, but the cost of new dampers plus the half-ass coilovers would be equal to or even more than the cost of full coilovers, so I would recommend you just get a set of full coilovers right at the start from a company like Tein, JIC, etc.
