Faulty Transmission

I just had my transmission replaced 6000 miles ago (now at 115000 miles) and have a ticking coming from the engine compartment. I know the tranny is right there beside it. Can the tranny be making the ticking noise?

Re: Faulty Transmission

Does it tic only when you slow down to stop or instantly as stopped 3 or 4 clicks? If so this is normal. Its a selonoid pak that controls the fluid flow for shifting.
If its a constant ticking I don`t know. Could be simple as a belt or belt tensioner
