Shocks

I have a '95, the ELC compressor chatters horribly, and runs all the time. im sure i also have a leak somewhere. Is there a gas replacement availible? is the front end also Air equipped?

the front end has standard struts,,if the ELC compressor is running all the time you can take the fuse out from under the rear seat..

will that affect the ride quality or ride hieght? what about a gas replacement?

It will likely ride about the same height if your rear shocks aren't inflating right anyway. It will sag more if you load up the back end.

Monroe MA822s are direct replacements for the rear air shocks. They can be had for about $65 for a set of two (they come packaged together- so keep that in mind if a web site isn't all that informative on what you get). I've also had some parts store's online sites tell me I need two of them by default, so watch out.

They are pretty easy to change. Just search for the actual directions around here.
