Problem with the rear door of my Safari 94

Hi Everyone,
The rear door of my Safari 94 does not open. When I enter the key, the lock does not turn. We have let a lock technician to replace the solenoid but it did not help. That means the problem was not with the solenoid.

There could be a problem the electrical system/cabeling.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and if I can repair it by myself. I noticed the labor rate is very expensive and I would prefer to try by myself.
