if you're truly attatched to the car itself and dont' want to change it, i'd say ignore our normal advice of 'buy a v8' and look into a motor swap. the hardest part with that will be getting the wiring to work and the motor to run. you'll also have to strengthen the frame and rear end. good luck.

You should be thankfull you atleast have a V6, imagine how people with civics feel..haha. The V6 is slow compared to the Gt's and the cobras but its actually not that slow. There are so many cars that are slower out there.

find an identical mustang GT. They are assembly line cars. One will be just like the other. Also Im sure you love your car but you probabaly also love not throwing money away.

The V6 has good performance potential and like the other guys said there are slower cars and think about the people that wish they had V6 power and performance. Dont waste your money in a engine swap. Just by a GT or modify your engine. How stock is it?

You could add HP wit h K&N filters and a supercharger. How much money are you willing to spend. If you were considering an engine swop then I assume you might have the money for a bolt on supercharger.
