Talking Need Some Help.....

I have a 2003 C-230 Kompressor. I have put in the K&N air filter. I want to know if there is a way to turn up the boost in the supercharger because I know it is not at its potential or even close. If there is a way will it hurt the engine? Any recomendations on what I should do? (Im not looking to have a super fast car I just want it to have a little more noticable pep to it.)

Re: Need Some Help.....

to bump up boost you need new pulley and maybe belt. the biggest problem would be detonation, but if you have enough fuel it wouldnt be a problem unless the boost is just shit high and the engine cant handle all the power.

Re: Need Some Help.....

the problem with the C230 is that you can't change the size of the SC pulley, you have to use a larger crank pulley to make everything spin faster. Renntech and ASP make pulley systems, the Renntech costs $1195 and will get you 10 hp according to their website, for $500 more you can get a custom ECU tuned to run with the more boost and get another 10 hp.

Re: Re: Need Some Help.....

I really do not know much about engines. I do not have the $ right now to spend $1100. Is there any little things I can do? I saw a Chip in performanceproducts.com. It is $400. Plus I am trying not to void the warrenty on my car because the warrenty kicks @$$. Everything is covered.
