ZC Timing Issue

I just had my cam timing adjusted cuz it was off pretty bad. Now I have a couple questions. One, does the firing oreder change if your timing is off? Because when I adjusted te timing and put the plugs the way I had them, 1,4,2,3, it wouldnt start. But this question goes off into another one, when you have the firing order wrong sumtimes doesnt it start but it just runs kinda laggy? Also how would I know if I bent some valves? Compression test? Because rite now my firing order I think is wrong but it runs really really laggy. Yes I have searched, and the firing order I read was, 1,3,4,2.

Re: ZC Timing Issue

I am doing my timing belt right now... Did you have to take the drivers side motor mount to get the cover off?

What else did you take off to get the timing bet off?

Or did you just do the cams.

Re: ZC Timing Issue

ya, I had to take off the drivers side motor mount off, and hoist the car up in the front, also I had to take off the drivers side wheel to reach the crank, and your gunna need someone to hold the flywheel when adjusting it.
