'97 steering stabilizer replacement
I am about to replace the steering stabilizer (shock) and need to know if the part that is connected to the center link is press fitted and if so what is the best way to remove it?

I have a 96 and i had a shop put it in for $20.00, if you want to try it yourself i reccomend an air wrench to get the bolt holding the shock on off. I didnt have the air wrench and tried regular sockets but it was the factory original so it was on there pretty tight so after about 45 minutes of knuckle bustin i just had someone put the one i bought on for me it took them about 20 minutes

If you dont have a tie rod or ball joint seperator a hammer will do try a little heat if stubborn!

update
Well I purchased a gear puller and used it to remove the stabilizer. It poped right out. I bought the Tuff Country SX5000 stabilizer and the steering feels much better.
I also went and replaced the rear sway bar. I had a clank noise before replacing the stock unit and now the noise is gone. It doesn't lean as much either. It almost handles as well as my 350Z
