1995 blazer cold start problems

When i start my blazer in the morning and it is chiily outside, my blazer doesnt want to start up. i turn the key, i have to hold it for 4 seconds, it turns fine. when it goes to start it goes up to like 600 RPMs and it just dies. it did it to me 4 times. then on the 5th time i guess i got lucky.. but on the 5th time it was bogging for like 3 seconds before it hit normal idle rpms.. can anyoe help? 1995 4dr 4wd. still ticking a 180000

Just a quick question, when was the last time you did a tune-up? To include, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter and PCV?

I just recently did a tune up. about 1000 mile ago. i never changed my fuel filter though. ill try to do that. also in the cold morning starts, my car will catch a dead spot. i turn the key and it starts to turn, then stops for a second then goes again. i just replaced my started. im going to check my wires leading to my battery. oh, i also just had my battery changed as well. any suggestions??
