Re: 1995 3.4 v6 NEED PERFORMANCE HELP!!!

Sorry to inform you but you picked the wrong V6 to work on... 3.4s barely have an aftermarket, not really much tunin available for them, etc. Plus I think (don't quote me on this) the fastest someone has gotten one is low 14s - high 13s. 3.8 is a world of difference, however....

So what would I be looking for if I had the 3.8 then?

Re: 1995 3.4 v6 NEED PERFORMANCE HELP!!!

also FYI this site is not the best for V6 information... I'd recommend www.fullthrottlev6.com personally, here you're just gonna get "drop in a 350/lt1/ls1" bullshit from most people

Re:

This is true most places I do get the whole ls1 lt1 shit everytime, the thing is I have already done that I really want to make a fast v6 that people will not expect to see. So what exactly did you mean by the 3.8 is a whole diffrent thing..? It would be very easy for me to get a 3.8 so im curious. I will also try out the site you recomnded.

I mean the 3.8 has a lot more potential than the 3.4

Re: 1995 3.4 v6 NEED PERFORMANCE HELP!!!

3.8 is a much better v6 to work on than the 3.4. And you may not like this, but the mustang v6 performs almost exactly like the F-body 3.8 and might have an even larger aftermarket. So unless you only want an F-body (which is understandable because they kick ass) you should look into the stang 3.8. The gap between the stang GT and the Z28 is much larger than in the base models of the Stang and Maro.

And btw, I think forced induction is definitely the way to go over n2o. I saw a TT 3.8 stang in low 11s and a few turbo 3.8 maros over 400 RWHP. It's MUCH easier to attain with an LS1, but some people take pride in building their cars up from the ground and not just buying fast.

Word of advice- get forged internals before running tons of boost.

Re: 1995 3.4 v6 NEED PERFORMANCE HELP!!!

I will look into the diffrent engines. I cant find anywhere that sells forged internals for my engine though. So if you know of anywhere I would like to know.
