thinkin' bout buying 05' yukon denali - should I?
I'm thinking about buy a 2005 yukon denali but some say it's too big for me, I just wannat know what kinda problems do you think i would have with it, mechanically and such.
I've been reading the other posts and still haven't decided. My other options were a Tahoe, Equinox, and a Trailblazer. help me before January. |

I love mine. I pickup an '05 DXL 1st of Nov. and love it. I had an '03 4Rrunner LTD and found it to small after taking a few long distance trips. I have about 3k on the Denali with no problems.

Re: thinkin' bout buying 05' yukon denali - should I?
oogle8, i had an s10 blazer before i got my denali and i really dont know how i managed life with a mid size suv. i wouldnt think about going back to a mid size suv again. i did consider a tahoe but after comparing the options between the denali and tahoe (and obviously the looks too) i decided to go with the denali and i havent looked back since.
the only issue i do have with mine is the lighting throughout the car dimming/flickering, apparently this has been fixed on the new models though, oh well. a member in my family does however have a trailblazer and although it is a very nice suv i just dont like driving it when i have to. (the seats are not as comfortable, it sits too low, and well, its just too small) but it all depends on what you are using it for. the way i see it is mid size suv's are too small and extended suv's (suburban, yukon xl, excursion, etc) are too large, for me atleast. also to be quite honest the 6.0L engine makes the denali a lot more fun to drive than the blazer ever was.
