h22 v-tech in an si
I own a 94 si (non-vtech) and I want to swap a h22 DOHC v-tech. My Si motor has around 150,000 and it's starting to show. is it an easy swap?

I'm not too keen on what you are wanting to do. Are you wanting an entire H22A/A1 Motor swap, or do a H23 VTEC (not v-tech
)Hybrid Conversion? Because if you're wanting to do a Motor Swap, what does it matter how many miles are on your engine?-Brian |

I take it he doesn't want a frankenstein.
Yes, H23A --> H22A is very simple. You run into a few (very minor) problems here and there, but it only requires little things like an h23a ignition coil swapover, or a VTEC ecu. I had a guide here somewhat a long time ago. Maybe it's still in the search.

I have had it done. Make sure you go through a reputable shop though, don't be foolin around at home with a chilton's trying to do an engine swap. Good luck.

I disagree, H23A -> H22A is one of the easiest Honda swaps there is. You just need a Helms manual. It makes Chilton's look like a children's picture book.
