no actually it is a polyurethane matrieal and it is betterthan fiberglass because its more durable and can resist a couple little impacts more than a fiberglass wich tends to chip badly i hope thats what u wanted to know :smoka:

smackd0wn,
worth $260 shipped ...yeah! thats a good deal, AND its the a pretty big change for the car, fits perfect, what more could you get for that price? as for painting the IMPUL kit... it's gonna run me a lot because i think i may paint my car a whole different color... so probably around $3500. if i had just put the kit on.. it'd probably run me $1600 to paint the bumpers/skirts/grill... i could get the thing slapped on and painted for $100 but TRUST ME... you get what you pay for when it comes to body work... the better you want it to look, the more you gotta pay |

question...i was told that the stillen kit can be taken on and off in like 10 minutes, true or not? I would like to be able to run around stock one day and "stillen" the next, i just thought that would be kinda cool, thats all

The stillen kit CAN be taken on and off IF you dont apply the double side tape along the edges...u can use screws and nuts along the side so u can take it on and off.
the double side tape doesnt do the job of holding the kit in place..it's there to insure a seamless fit along the bumper surface

Yeah i can take it off in like 15 mins, and that includes getting the tools, etc. I used trim screws along the wheel well to keep the bumper on and then drilled some holes in the front where the licence plate holder bolts on the front. So the licence plate bolts and the trim screws are the only think holding the bumper in place. I tried the body tape but didn't find a very good quality tape. I like it how it is now, as I can take off the bumper and clean underneath.

Had a few PM's from people asking about the Stillen kit and what it means by it not being a complete bumper. It only fits over the old one and it looks like this when you get it....

If the Stillen kit fits on a P11 by just using double sided tape or screws, it must be possible to whack it on the front of a P10. Im sure that is what they must have done for this kit.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the Stillen front and put it on the P10. Because, its the best looking for I have seen for a P10. |
