Jaguar XK140 Roadster

I just saw a black 50's Jaguar XK140 Roadster as seen in the film Cruel Intentions. Gorgeous car, fat old man driving it

Cool sighting. Isn't that the car the gecko drives in the Geico commercial?

I've seen several Gieco ads with the car, both on TV and in magazines, and from the side it clearly looks like a Jag XK120; but in one there's a front view and it appears a different grille has been grafted on, one that looks somewhat like it's from a Frazer-Nash Targa Florio (good luck getting Geico to insure one of those).

Re: Jaguar XK140 Roadster

Yes, the Geico one surely isn't a Jag.

Nice car, btw, I've always loved the Sunbeam Tigers.

Currently I have a '56 Jaguar XK140MC DHC (Drop-head-coupe), 69 Corvette 427 Convertible, and a 1947 Lincoln residing in the garages. I'd love to add a Sunbeam in there someday.
