I have a 2000 Mustang GT. I tried to start my car this morning and it turned over and tried to start, but then stalled right away. I tried again with the same result. I then turned the key over and stepped on the gas a couple times and it started up and idled fine after that. The car runs great once it is started. This has happened 3 times now, but the instances have been spread out over 3 weeks. It only happens when the car has been sitting for a few days. Do I have water in my gas or could it be a different problem?? Any input is much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: 2000 Mustang GT wont start without giving gas...
You will need to diagnose the Idle Air Control Valve. It should be fairly simple to fix.
