Wink yet anotherquestion from me lol lol

ill end up a regular before you know it ok here it goes it idles smoot as silk but when you go through the geers it bogs then surges as you excelerate any sugestions

Check ignition points & timing first. If you take off the air cleaner & look down into the carburetor there is a small brass U-shaped pipe just below the choke flap. With engine off open the throttle flap & you should see a spray of fuel from this pipe. It should go down the center of the venturi, not hitting the sides.

i pulled off the air cleaner and i looked into carburetor found where the gas comes out and it is hitting the sides not straight down what do i need to do to fix this i also changed the fuel filter

You can use a screwdriver to properly position the tube, it will rotate. Be carefull if you loosen it because it can be sucked into the engine. It is just press fit into the carb housing, so after you move it just get a small hammer & very lightly tap it back in using the screwdriver at the enlarged base ring to ensure it is still seated.
