silvia...180...240..?

i was just wondering what the difference between silvias and 180, 240 etc.. is it just the Jdm or is it a completly different car?



any answer is greatly appreciated

240sx hatchbacks are based on the 180sx, the difference basically being engine and being RHD/LHD. the 89-90 180sx came with the CA18DET motor and the 90+ came with the SR20DET, whereas the 89-90 240sx came with the KA24E and the 90-94 240sx came with the KA24DE

240sx coupes here are known as "onevias" (180sx front, silvia rear) and came with the KA24E and KA24DE (based on the years as mentioned above) just swap the front end of the 240sx coupe with the silvia (bolt on) and you got yourself a USDM silvia, heh

body wise the cars are exactly the same and are interchangable.
